Salman Khan and father Salim Khan receive threat letter, Mumbai police starts probe

Mumbai, June 5: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his father Salim Khan received a threat letter from an anonymous person on Sunday. "Moosa Wale jaisa kar dunga (Will make you like Moose Wala)," the letter read. Salman, who had travelled to Abu Dhabi for the IIFA event, returned to Mumbai on Sunday. Mumbai Police have launched an investigation filling an FIR against an unknown person as it comes days after Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead allegedly by the members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Lawrence Bishnoi had threatened to Salman Khan in 2018 in connection with the black buck poaching case of 1998, in which Salman Khan was one of the accused. Lawrence Bishnoi is lodged in Delhi's Tihar jail and is being questioned by the police for his alleged role in Sidhu Moose Wala murder case. Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by a group of attackers on Sunday at Jawahar Ke village. His body had 19 bullet wounds.
