Puri, August 6: Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh(RSS) Chief Mohan Bhagwat called on Jagadguru Shankaracharya in Puri on Saturday.
Bhagwat discussed with the sheer regarding the promotion of unity and fraternity in the nation through moral and spiritual education.
Sourced said, the RSS Chief visited Puri Jagannath Temple and offered obeisance to the Trinity. Following this, he presided over a meeting with the RSS activists in the shrine and advised them to dedicate themselves for the service of the nation. In the afternoon, Bhagwat visited the Gobardhan Mutt and met Shankaracharya Swami Nischalanand Saraswati.
