Bhubaneswar, Nov 17: Forest and Environment Minister Pradeep Amat today inaugurated the ropeway project at Nandankanan Zoo.
The project, installed at an investment of Rs 14 crore, has 12 cabins, each having capacity to accommodate 3 to 6 persons.
The ropeway project covers a distance of 626 meters.
The ropeway service will be available from tomorrow for the visitors at a price of Rs 120 per head. Visitors will have to pay an additional amount for taking camera for photography, said an official.
Visitors will have to book special ticket for the ropeway ride at a special counter. The service will be available from 8 am to 4 pm daily, excluding weekly holiday.
