Baliguda, Sept. 7: Viewing river from the bridge turned fatal for a youth in Odisha’s Malkangiri.
One Chaitanya Naik, a native of the Karnibeda village under the Baliguda block reportedly went missing after he fell off the Muthabali bridge in the afternoon.
Sources said, Nayak was enjoying the river view sitting on the edge of the bridge. Meanwhile, he fell into the water unmindfully and was swept away by the current.
Responding to the scream, locals rushed to the spot and informed the fire services team regarding the incident. A rescue operation was soon initiated in the water. However, the where about of the youth was yet to be ascertained by the evening.
