New Delhi, Sept 12: Xiaomi has officially confirmed its plan to launch the eagerly expected Redmi Note 13 Pro series in China later this month. This latest series will introduce two exciting variants into the market: the Redmi Note 13 Pro and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ smartphones, taking over from their predecessors, the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
Xiaomi has not withdrawn from revealing some of the exciting features these smartphones will offer. Perhaps the most striking of these is the remarkable 200-megapixel rear camera unit that both the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will sport. In addition to this impressive camera technology, it has been reported that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be powered by a MediaTek chipset, accompanied by a customized Samsung ISOCELL camera sensor.
Xiaomi announced the launch schedule for the Redmi Note 13 series via a Weibo post, building up anticipation among eager fans. The company has also taken to various teasers on the popular Chinese social media platform, providing some key insights into what to expect from these upcoming devices.
Notably, Xiaomi has confirmed that both the camera specifications and chipset for these smartphones will be supplied by Samsung and MediaTek.
One of the standout features of the Redmi Note 13 Pro series is undoubtedly the 200-megapixel rear camera setup.
The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is particularly intriguing, as it is teased to be equipped with the new 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra SoC, possibly an enhanced version of the standard Dimensity 7200 SoC seen in other devices like the iQoo Z7 Pro 5G and Vivo V27.
Furthermore, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will feature a custom variant of the 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 Discovery Edition camera sensor, which is expected to deliver improved image clarity, building on the legacy of the 200-megapixel Samsung HPX sensor found in the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G.
Earlier, both the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ had surfaced on the TENAA website, identified by their model numbers, 2312DRA50C and 2312DRA50C, respectively.
According to the listing, both smartphones will offer a vibrant 6.67-inch OLED display and support 5G connectivity. Additionally, they are likely to come equipped with a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Memory options are set to impress, with the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Redmi Note 13 Pro expected to offer up to 18GB and 16GB of RAM, respectively, as per the TENAA listing, providing customers with a choice of four RAM and storage configurations.
In terms of battery capacity, the Redmi Note 13 Pro is anticipated to house a robust 5,020mAh battery, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ may come with a slightly smaller 4,880mAh battery. With these exciting features and improvements, Xiaomi's Redmi Note 13 Pro series is poised to make a significant impact in the smartphone market.
