‘Rakshak’ training camp organized at Rairangpur

Mayurbhanj, Nov 30: The Odisha Transport department and Indian Red Cross Society jointly organized a camp named ‘Rakshak’ in Rairangpur of Mayurbhanj district on Tuesday to train common people for assisting road accident victims. Sub collector of Rairangpur, Saroj Kumar Das inaugurated the training camp which was organized at the premises of Rairangpur’s transport office. During the camp, chief instructor Aditya Choudhary performed various techniques that were necessarily effective in saving the life of a road accident victim. “With 300 instructors, we have targeted to train at least 3000 volunteers in 30 districts of Odisha within a span of 30 weeks,” said Choudhary in his version.
