Rajasthan announces complete lockdown till March 31 to fight coronavirus

Jaipur, Mar 22: The Rajasthan government on Saturday announced a complete lockdown in the state till March 31 to contain the spread of coronavirus. Ina late night order, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said all government and private offices, malls, shops, factories and public transport will remain closed across the state till end of March and it’s borders with other states will be sealed. However, medical and essential services will be operational during this period. The families covered under National Food Security Act will get wheat for two months free of cost and government will distribute food packets to poor and needy families in urban areas during the lockdown.
