Bhubaneswar, Aug 18: Several parts of the state continued to receive heavy rainfall due to low pressure, Regional Meteorological Department said on Friday. The low pressure that was formed over the North-East and Central East Bay of Bengal is likely to turn into a depression, the met department said. Under the influence of the depression, heavy rainfall is expected in some places of the state, especially in Northern and Southern Odisha. A red alert has been issued in the districts of Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj today. Besides, 14 districts have been issued orange warning including Cuttack, Kendrapara and Sambalpur and seven districts have been issued yellow warning for intense rainfall.
