Koraput, Oct 13: Pottangi MLA Pitam Padhi and Andhra Pradesh Integrated Tribal Development Agency(ITDA) officials have faced off in Kotia on Wednesday. Being aggrieved over an Andhra sponsored party meeting in Kotia group of villages, Padhi warned the Andhra officials not to organize any political and developmental programs in and around Kotia. Sources said,PA of Andhra Pradesh ITDA, Kurma Nath had organised a party meeting at Fagunasinery village. He was hosting a feast to the elected members of Andhra sponsored election and addressing people of six villages regarding various issues. At the same time, he was motivating the villagers not to co-operate in the current panchayat election of Odisha. Being informed, Pottangi MLA Pitam Padhi rushed to the spot and opposed the venture of the Andhra Pradesh officers. As a result, a hot oral spat took place at the spot. Meanwhile, Padhi protested the illegal interference of Andhra Pradesh. Similarly, Pottangi Block Chairperson also reached at the spot and raised voice against the Andhra sponsored programs in the Kotia group of villages.
