Bhubaneswar: Balasore district’s Khaira police station ASI Pradeep Mohanty and driver Raju Das were severely injured as their patrolling van dashed against a roadside tree at Siddhalpur this morning.

According to reports, driver Raju Das drove the van to the roadside to save a buffalo which came in front of the vehicle all of a sudden. The van hit to a tree and the two were injured.

Now, Mohanty is undergoing treatment at the Khaira hospital and Das at Balasore District Headquarters Hospital.
