New Delhi, Apr 8: After 37 days of administering the first dose of vaccine, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today took second dose of COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS. Further, he asked people those who are eligible for taking vaccination to take it at the earliest to curb the spread of the virus.
Earlier, he got his first shot of vaccine on March 1 at the hospital.
Posting a picture of him receiving the jab he tweeted “Got my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS today. Vaccination is among the few ways we have, to defeat the virus. If you are eligible for the vaccine, get your shot soon. Register on CoWin.gov.in”.
Modi has taken India’s homegrown vaccine Covaxin, developed by Bharat Biotech.
