New Delhi, Mar 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday spoke to motivational speaker and founder of Isha Foundation Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev who recently underwent a brain surgery and wished him speedy recovery.
Taking to his official ‘X’ handle, PM Modi wrote “Spoke to @SadhguruJV Ji and wished him good health and a speedy recovery.” In a statement released by Isha Foundation, it was confirmed that Sadhguru is currently on the path to recovery.
It is worth mentioning that Sadhguru had been enduring severe headaches for several weeks, leading to an MRI diagnosis on March 14 revealing a "massive bleeding in the brain". His condition swiftly deteriorated, experiencing "weakness of the left leg and headache with recurrent vomiting".
A subsequent CT scan disclosed "increase in brain swelling and life-threatening shift of the brain to one side." Thereafter, he underwent an emergency brain surgery to alleviate the bleeding in the skull.
