People from all walks of life participate in ‘Janata Curfew’ in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Mar 22: Odisha on Sunday witnessed an unprecedented lockdown as people from all walks of life extended  their support to observe ‘Janata Curfew’ to fight against deadly coronavirus. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the people to be at home from 7 am to 9 pm to participate in ‘Janata Curfew’. The state government has left no stone unturned in its fight against COVID-19 to make the ‘Janata Curfew’ a great success for the wellbeing of citizens. Adequate arrangements have been made to ensure that no body steps out of home without an emergency or valid reason. As many as 40 platoons of police personnel have been deployed in Bhubaneswar to ensure the 14-hour lockdown. Similarly, around 100 police officials are monitoring the situation across the capital city with patrolling of 53 PCR vans.
