Puri, Aug 31: Paid 'darshan' in Puri Jagannath temple will be resumed soon. This was informed by the Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple on Thursday.
Chief Administrator Ranjan Kumar Dash while presiding over the Financial Sub-committee meeting held here in the afternoon said, the paid 'darshan' popularly known as the 'Paramanika Darshan' will soon be revived. However, SOPs in this connection will be laid down for its smooth implementation, he added.
Apart from it, a number of proposals were laid down in the meeting where the committee resolved to install three additional donation boxes, and make available provision of LED TV in the Bhakta Niwas. Similarly, the budget for the Shree Jagannath Temple rituals, placed for the fiscal 2023-24 was reviewed by the Financial Sub-committee.
