Bhubaneswar, Sept 3: Odisha Tourism Development Corporation(OTDC) is all set to open ‘Nimantran’ Restaurant in Bangalore and Delhi.
OTDC Chairperson Dr. Lenin Mohanty declared it on Sunday, the 44th Foundation Day of the organisation.
Following the success of the ‘Nimantran' Restaurant across the state, the OTDC has ethically decided to extend its outlets in other cities of the nation. To first of its kind, it will establish multi-cuisine restaurants in IT city Bangalore and the National Capital Delhi, official sources said.
Apart from it, the OTDC authorities are shortly going to roll out typical Odia sweets and Pitha outlets in prominent places of the state throughout the year.
OTDC used to sell out typical Odishi Pithas only on the Rajo, opening up number of counters in selective towns across the state. However, these pithas will be made available by the OTDC on all occasions.
Worth mentioning, the OTDC had made a voluminous business of worth Rs 16 lakh by selling out Raja Pitha in 2023.
