Bhanjanagar, Mar 28: A man died while another sustained critical injuries in a road mishap near Gujarali village under Bhanjanagar police limits in the district today.

The deceased has been identified as Kalia Naik, a resident of Galeri village.

According to locals, Kalia and his friend Saiba Naik were on their way from Turumu village towards Bhanjanagar on his motorcycle when he lost control over the vehicle and hit a tree. Kalia succumbed to the injuries where as Saiba was admitted to the Bhanjanagar hospital in critical condition.

Later, the police reached the hospital and launched a probe into the matter.
