Odisha: Woman police constable returns wallet with Rs 20K

Bhubaneswar, Oct 31: A woman constable working with Mahila police station in Bhubaneswar won many hearts after she returned a lost wallet to its rightful owner, which she had found at Unit I market. The constable identified as Bhanumati Mallick found the wallet conataiting cash of Rs 20000, ATM card and other identity cards. She later deposited the wallet at Capital police station. {"id":78386,"sizeSlug":"large"} Police later found the wallet belonging to one Amanprit Singh who works with the 120 battalion in the state capital. The wallet and the valuables were later handed over to the rightful owner. “I was worried as the wallet contained various identity cards and ATM card. I had lost hope of getting it but was delighted when I got a call from the police that my wallet has been found,” said Singh.
