Odisha witnesses spike in Covid-19 cases after a gap of two days

Bhubaneswar, Aug 3: After a gap of two days, Odisha today witnessed a sudden spike in daily Covid-19 cases as the state reported 920 new positive cases including 166 cases in the 0-18 year age group in the last 24 hours. Among the 920 positive cases, 538 patients are in quarantine, and 382 are local contacts. Shockingly, Sundergarh alone registered 250 positive cases, the highest Covid cases in Odisha in the last 24 hours.
