Bhubaneswar, Sept 29: US Ambassador Eric Michael Garcetti, currently in Odisha, visited some of the state's most iconic landmarks with his family.
On Sunday, the envoy toured the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Sun Temple at Konark, and expressed admiration for its intricate sculptures.
The visit followed his pilgrimage to Puri, where he participated in the Parikrama of the Shree Jagannath Temple on Saturday.
On Saturday, Garcetti and his family also visited the Blue Flag beach in Puri, enjoying a sea bath, and explored the heritage corridor around the Jagannath temple.
They stayed overnight in Puri, engaging in a sunrise yoga session before heading to Konark the next day.
Before these visits, they had also visited the historic Mukteswar Temple in Bhubaneswar, marking a spiritually enriching experience in Odisha.
