Bhubaneswar, Aug 9: In the next three days, Odisha is unlikely to receive more rainfall. The weather across the state would be mostly dry, with little rainfall in a few places.
However, Odisha may receive more rain after August 12, informed sources in the India Meteorology Department's regional centre, here on Wednesday.
As per IMD predictions, in the ext 24 hours there may be little to medium rainfall in districts like Mayurbhanj, Kendujhar, Balasore, Bhadrak, Malkangiri, Koraput, Gajapati and Ganjam.
As per forecast, a cyclonic trough is expected to be formed over the Bay of Bengal on August 12, which is likely to intensify further and induce more rainfall in state for a couple of days, IMD sources added.
