Odisha startup to develop nano technology to treat rheumatic arthritis

Bhubaneswar, June 14: Odisha-based startup Prantae Solutions is going to develop nanosensor technology to diagnose rheumatic arthritis in collaboration with the USSR. The Ministry of Science and Technology has nominated the Biotech Company in the aegis of Indo-Russian S&T Centre for two-way Technology Transfer and Commercialization to innovate on rheumatoid arthritis care. Accordingly, Prantae Solutions has signed MoU with IVOKE LLC of the USSR on Friday. As per the MoU, Prantae Solutions will develop Nano based Sensor technology to diagnose rheumatic arthritis with more than 99 percent accuracy. The Ministry of Science and Technology will provide financial assistance for the project. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Prantae Solutions Doctor Ashim Mishra said, the new technology will bring a new era in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis soon. It can be conveniently utilized in the rural health centres to treat the painful disease that affect most of the people of every age. The Managing Director of the Company Doctor Sumonakarji Mishra said, the bilateral technology will help to innovate a smart device in order to eradicate Rheumatoid arthritis from the country with exact diagnosis.
