Odisha MSME Trade Fair from tomorrow, no international participation for Covid-19

Bhubaneswar, Mar 4: Odisha MSME Trade Fair will be held between March 5 and March 9 at IDCO exhibition ground in Bhubaneswar. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will inaugurate the fair which will be organised with Covid-19 guidelines. Minister for Industries and MSME Dibya Shankar Mishra said that there will be no international participation in the fair for Covid-19 pandemic and maximum participation will be from within the state. “Different PSUs of national and state level will participate this year. Women entrepreneurs and Mission Shakti groups, startups and the food processing units are the focal sectors for this year's event. Keeping in view the prospective contribution of Mission Shakti groups in socio economic development of the state, special emphasis is being given for up-grading their members into successful entrepreneurs,” said Mishra. There will be five hangers with capacity of 60 stalls each, out of which four hangers will be dedicated for startups, food processing units, Mission Shakti, PSUs respectively and the remaining one will be for general purpose. A seminar hall with sitting capacity of 100 will be available for conducting seminars.
