His romantic heart and his bit extra ambitious activities, led him to horrible consequences. The latest update revealed he was fighting for life on the hospital bed, after being shot at from a close distance, by the man, he hurt the most.
Such a development on the silver screen may appear extra romantic. But reel life and real life are heaven and hell apart. Otherwise, Pankaj Dehury of Odisha's Sambalpur district might not have been attacked by Swadhin Pradhan, who too belongs to the same locality.
But why did Swadhin targeted Pankaj and why he took such an extreme step is bound to disturb anyone who comes to know about the incident., Swadhin's wife eloped with Pankaj and the estranged husband (Swadhin) was determined to avenge the humiliation and social stigma, revealed sources on Wednesday.
As per reports, when Swadhin, a resident of Jhankarpada village under Charmal police limits of Sambalpur district, came to know on Tuesday night that his wife and her paramour Pankaj had come to the village for some work, he decided to settle score.
Sources further stated that Swadhin fired several rounds of bullets from a country-made gun. Pankaj sustained critical bullet injuries and was rushed to VIMSAR Medical College and Hospital in Burla for treatment. Later, was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as his condition deteriorated, sources said.
The local police were probing into the details and were trying to locate Swadhin, who managed to scot free after the incident, sources added.
