Odisha Home Guard department 59th raising day: Ganjam Police felicitates 75 home guards for outstanding work

Chhatrapur, Dec 6: The 59th Raising Day of the Odisha Home Guard was observed at the Chhatrapur Police ground in Ganjam district on Monday morning. Home Guard personnel has conducted an impressive parade and staged their skills to mark the event. Superintendent of Police (SP) of Ganjam, Brijesh Kumar Rai also attended the event as the chief guest. {"id":151810,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} Addressing the event, SP said, “the home guard personnel have been bravely doing their duty during flood, cyclone, drought and also in the field of traffic management, maintaining law and order etc.” “The personnel have left no stones unturned in serving the public during the pandemic”. {"id":151811,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} The SP also read out the messages from the President, Prime Minister, Home Minister, Governor and the Chief Minister. At the end of the program, Ganjam police have also rewarded 75 home guards in the district for their outstanding work. {"id":151812,"sizeSlug":"full","linkDestination":"none"} Atleast 12 members of the Chhatrapur Police Subdivision, 11 members of the Bhanjanagar Police Subdivision, 8 members of the Purushottampur Police Subdivision and 14 members of the Aska Police Division were felicitated for their excellent service.
