Odisha govt yet to decide on conducting state board examinations: Minister

Bhubaneswar, Apr 14: After the centre cancelled CBSE class 10 board examinations, the state government of Odisha is yet to arrive at a decision on conducting the state board examinations in the state, informed Minister of School and Mass Education, Samir Dash today. “We will take stock of the situation and then decide whether to conduct the state board examinations or not,” said Das. Earlier, the centre had cancelled the CBSE class 10 examinations and postponed the class 12 examinations till any further notice after a high level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in presence of Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Cabinet Secretary, School and Higher Education Secretaries and other top officials today.
