Odisha Govt to write Health Ministry for test facility of coronavirus in the state

Bhubaneswar, March 4: Two more suspect cases of coronavirus have been reported in the state today. Earlier on Tuesday a couple returning from Singapore was admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after they developed symptoms of the deadly virus. In the first case a Dubai-returning youth of Subarnapur has been admitted to VIMSAR after he complained of cold and fever while another man who returned from Andaman recently has been admitted to Keonjhar District Headquarters Hospital. Meanwhile the Health Department has decided to write to Union Health Minister to allow test of blood samples of patients with suspected coronavirus symptoms at SCB hospital in Cuttack and Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) in Bhubaneswar. In a related development students of IMS and SUM Hospital today took out an awareness rally in the State Capital urging people to take preventive measures to fight the deadly virus. More than 300 students participated in the rally.
