Odisha govt spends over Rs 184 crore for ads in newspapers, electronics media in last 3 years

Bhubaneswar,July 26: Odisha government has spent over Rs 184.83 crore for placing advertisements in newspapers and electronics media during the last 3 years, said Information and  Public Relations Minister Pradip Kumar Amat on Tuesday. Responding to a question of MLA Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia in the Odisha Assembly, Amat said the Samaj daily received the highest amount of Rs 21,36,32,540 during the period while the Deccan Chronicle (Bangalore Edition) received the lowest amount of Rs 6,160. He said the advertisements are being placed as per the Advertisement Rule-1998.
