Odisha deputes 12 more OAS officers to five Covid hotspot districts

Bhubaneswar, April 27: The State government today deputed as many as 12 OAS officers to five Covid-19 affected districts in western Odisha. An order in this effect was today published by the General Administration and Public Grievance Department. As per the order, three OAS officers each have been deputed to Nuapada and Sundargarh two OAS officers each will assist in Covid management in Sambalpur, Balangir and Bargarh. “The Controlling Authorities of the concerned OAS officers shall relieve their officers forthwith to enable them to report before the Collector & D.M., of the respective districts immediately. The Officers under orders of deployment are directed to report before the Collector & DMs, of the respective Districts accordingly without fail,” read the order.
