Cuttack, Aug 12: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) conducted a two-day Curators' Workshop at the Barabati Stadium, here.
The two-day workshop was held as a part of OCA's much ambitious Vision@2024, which aims to prepare and maintain turf wickets in almost all 41 OCA cricket academies, informed the organisers.
As many as 52 representatives from various district academies attended the two-day programme, which ended on Sunday. The participants shared their knowledge in developing and maintaining turf wickets.
The workshop also provided an opportunity for the curators to upgrade their knowledge and make themselves eligible for becoming an empanelled BCCI curators, the organisers said.
The curator educators' team was spearheaded by OCA chief curator Anjan Kumar Khuntia. He was supported by BCCI empanelled curator Pankaj Kumar Pattnaik, OCA senior curators duo of Bibhu Satapathy and Hrusikesh Singh, OCA sources informed.
OCA secretary Sanjay Behera attended the concluding session of the workshop and announced Rs 10,000 cash rearwards each for the best two curators, the organisers added.
