Odisha CM launches smart health card distribution in Balasore, Bhadrak

Balasore, Nov 26: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday launched smart health card distribution under Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) in Balasore and Bhadrak districts. Patnaik said that as many as 20 lakh people of Balasore and 11 lakh people of Bharak will be benefited under the scheme. On the occasion, the Chief Minister launched projects worth Rs 1500 crore in Balasore district and projects worth Rs 300 crore in Bhadrak district. The Chief Minister said a mega water pipeline project with an investment of Rs 500 crore will be executed in 6 different blocks of Balasore district. More than 6.5 lakh people from 660 villages of Balasore will get clean drinking water after the implementation of the project, added Patnaik. “Providing clean drinking water to the people of Balasore is one of our main objectives”, said the Chief Minister.
