Bhubaneswar, July 1: Newly appointed Odisha Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja on Monday chaired his first Secretary-level meeting at the Lok Seva Bhavan.
Ahuja during discussion, urged Secretaries of all departments to focus on prime developmental schemes.
Lauding the essence good governance in Odisha, Ahuja sought the cooperation of all departments in order to escalate the state to a higher altitude in every way of development.
Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Anu Garg welcomed the new Chief Secretary and underlined his long administrative journey.
Worth mentioning, a 1990 batch IAS officer Ahuja resumed his duty as Odisha Chief Secretary on Sunday.
On first day in the State Secretariat, Ahuja was given a rousing welcome by the Lok Seva Bhawan officials following which he left for Puri Shrimandir to have darshan of Lord Jagannath and other deities.
