Bhubaneswar, Feb 22: The Odisha cabinet on Thursday approved an affordable housing scheme at Gadakana in Bhubaneswar.
According to new housing scheme, as many as 351 housing units including 216 MIG units, 115 LIG units, 20 EWS units and 20 shops will be developed at the Gadakana village, which will be later provided to the beneficiaries after fullfleged construction.
For the implementation of the project, Odisha State Housing Board (OSHB) has invited for the work on EPC mode on 10 October 2023. After the completion of the transparent bidding process, M/s Shree Balajee Engicons Ltd emerged as the L1 bidder to execute the project.
The tender for the above project was approved by the Cabinet to award the contract to the lowest bidder M/s Shree Balajee Engicons Ltd, for the development of the project on EPC mode with an amount of 134 crore 85 lakh rupees. The project is targeted for completion within 36 months.
