Bhubaneswar, Dec 31: The state unit of BJP has planned to secure 50 percent votes from each booth in the upcoming election in 2024.
The strategy was made in an important meeting held recently at the party office here. Odisha BJP Pravari Sunil Bansal and the co-in-charge Bijayapal Singh Tomar was also present in the meeting.
The meeting, headed by state president Manmohan Samal, discussed the preparation for the forthcoming elections. All the officials have been given a target to capture 50% of votes from each booth. However, the focus will be on the assembly segment and not on the Lok Sabha. It has also been discussed how the BJP will form the government in the state.
Sunil Bansal has given many suggestions on how to strengthen the party at the grasroots and how to deal with the BJD. He also gave various tips on how to reach out to the people and make them vote in favor of the party.
The district presidents were also assigned different responsibilities. The task was given to reach one crore people of the state before going to the polls.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Odisha. Nitin Gadkari and Adidiyanath Yogi will also come, said BJP sources.
