Bhubaneswar, August 3: Amrita Beura of Cambridge School of Noida in Uttar Pradesh has topped the Class-XII Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) examination in Odisha. Amrita, who is a Commerce student, secured 99.8% marks in the exam, the results of which were declared on July 31. Amiya Kumar Beura, the father of Amrita, works as General Manager (Construction) at IOCL in Noida while Meeta Rani, mother of Amrita, is the Assistant Director, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Amrita is now planning to become an economist. Moreover, she has also founded a club called ‘BAYAAN’ in her school which was responsible for carrying out a successful voluntary student initiative to help Covid patients during the pandemic.
