Deogarh, Jan 21: No mobile tower, no nomination for Panchayat election move in Deogarh has put the district administration in trouble. The discussion between the administration and people of five gram panchayats on poll boycott, convened on Friday has failed. Sources said, five gram panchayats under Tileibani block including Jharagogua,Paraposi,Dimirikuda,Gandam and Jharamunda have called for poll boycott in the coming rural bodies elections demanding installation of mobile towers in the gram panchayat limits. Following this, Deogarh district Collector discussed with the locals today. However, they remained firm in their demands and did not agree with the administration to co-operate in the three-tier rural election. It needs to mention, no candidates filed nomination to contest the gram panchayat and Zilla Parisha election despite the dateline for it passed today.
