Bhubaneswar, Sep 18: There is no major development issue in Kotia group of villages, said Speaker of Odisha legislative assembly, Surjya Narayan Patro on Saturday. Patro said Odisha government is taking up a host of welfare projects for the development of the bordering villages. There is no such major problem in those villages regarding basic amenities of the people. At the same time, the government has kept close watch on Andhra Pradesh for its illegal intrusion into Odisha. The House Committee is all set to visit the spot soon after the flood situation subsides, Patro said. “I am in continuous touch with the district Collector, Koraput on video conferences and taking stock of the Kotia situation”,Patro added.
