Naveen to visit Malkangiri to distribute smart health cards

Bhubaneswar, Aug 16: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is scheduled to visit the Malkangiri district on August 20 to distribute smart health cards among the beneficiaries. On the occasion of Independence Day, the Chief Minister on Sunday announced smart health cards for 3.5 crore people of the state under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana. During the visit, Patnaik will also interact with the villagers. Besides, seven Ministers have been deputed to remain present in eight blocks of the district to sensitise the public about the benefits of the health card. In the next phases, the Chief Minister will visit Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj, and Balangir districts to distribute the smart health cards.
