Naveen lays foundation for development of Maa Manikeshwari shrine

Bhubaneswar, Dec 24: Chief Minister, Naveen Patnaik today laid the foundation stone for the development of Maa Manikeshwari shrine in Thuamul-Rampur of Kalahandi district through video conferencing. The work for the development of the shrine will be done with an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore. Describing Maa Manikeshwari as a symbol of the faith and faith of millions of people, the Chief Minister said that the initiative would further enhance the glory of the shrine and boost tourism. The development work of the shrine will commence under 5T initiative. The CM said that he has given special importance to Kalahandi and has visited Kalahandi twice this year and started development and welfare work. T he Chief Minister thanked the Kalahandi people for their unwavering support for development and said that the development trend would move forward with the people’s faith and trust in mind.
