Puri, Nov 24: The Nagarjuna Besha of Lord Jagannath and siblings will be held on November 27. However, devotees will not be allowed to get a glimpse of this special attire of the holy trinity in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic.
Puri Srimandir, which is closed since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is likely to open its door to devotees by the third week of December, said a senior official of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) today.
The SJTA chief administrator said SOP is being formulated for allowing the devotees to enter the temple. The SOP will deal with the conduct of smooth ‘darshan of devotees adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines.
