MP to include Ramayan, Mahabharat and Sri Ramacharitamanasa in engineering studies

Bhopal, Sept 13: The Madhya Pradesh government is all set to include Ramayan, Mahabharat and Ramacharitamanasa studies in Engineering education soon. The Minister of Higher Education Department, Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav declared it on Monday. However, topics based on the epics are optional for the students, Yadav Said. Speaking on the decision, Yadav said, “there is nothing wrong in it. "Whoever wants to learn about Lord Ram's character & contemporary works can do so in engineering courses”.Steps have been taken within the purview of the new National Education Policy. “Board of teachers have prepared the syllabus under the NEP 2020. If we can bring our glorious history forward, no one should have any issue with it,” he added.
