Bhawanipatna, Jan 14: A woman and her daughter were killed after a speeding truck hit the scooter they were travelling on in Kalahandi district on Thursday.

The accident took place on Bhawanipatna-Junagarh road.

Police reached the spot and launched a probe recovering the bodies.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be established.
