Bhubaneswar, Jan 2: Unidentified assailants violently robbed one Sibanand Barik on Monday night in Damana village under the Chandrasekharpur police limits in Bhubaneswar. The perpetrators, whose identities remain unknown, attacked Sibanand near his residence, slashing his throat in the process before making off with the money bag. Promptly, Sibanand was rushed to a private hospital, and his condition is reported to be stable.
Recounting the harrowing experience, Sibanand shared, "I was en route to my shop when a group of unidentified miscreants attempted to snatch my money bag. In the struggle to retain it, they assaulted me with a sharp weapon and escaped with the bag. Nevertheless, I have filed a complaint with Chandrasekharpur police regarding the incident."
In response to the complaint, the police have initiated an investigation to apprehend the culprits behind this shocking incident.
