Jeypore, June 06: Unidentified miscreants on Thursday broke open the lock of a scooter dicky and stole away cash amounting Rs 7 Lakh in Jeypore.
The scooter belongs to Rahul Samantaray. The incident occurred while Rahul had parked his scooter on the main road and gone to recharge his mobile phone to a shop. Rahul had withdrawn the money from a local bank and was on his way home.
Rahul has lodged a complaint in this regard with Jeypore town police station. Based on the complaint, the police are investigating the case.
