Bhubaneswar, Mar 31: Unidentified miscreants have allegedly abducted a minor boy while he was playing on his rooftop in Shastri Nagar area here in the early morning today.

The victim has been identified as Ashutosh Das, a student of Kendriya Vidyalaya 1 in Bhubaneswar.

According to the family members, Ashutosh went to play on the rooftop of their house this morning but did not return. When they did not find their son on the rooftop, they conducted a frantic search to trace him out but in-vain.

Later, they lodged a kidnap complaint at Kharavela Nagar police station in this regards. Police have initiated a probe into the matter.
