Bhubaneswar, August 11: Commissionerate Police on Friday recovered a minor girl’s decomposed body from the Barang area in Bhubaneswar.
The identification of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
Sources said that the locals of the Barang area called the PCR after getting a foul smell from a closed room here in a residential colony. Teams of Chandrasekharpur and Infocity police rushed to the spot and recovered a minor girl’s body. Following a primary investigation, the scientific team was called to take up further investigation.
The body has been sent for post-mortem. Further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
