Minor boy goes missing from Jagatsinghpur hospital: Granny cries for help

Jagatsinghpur, Aug 20: A minor boy has gone missing from Jagatsinghpur district headquarters hospital campus on Thursday. The granny of the boy has lodged complaint with police and appealed to trace out her grandson. Sources said, Chandrama Swain of Raitasahi village under Ersama police limit was looking after her three-year old grandson Rahul after his mother’s remarriage. As she had no other option to nourish the boy, she was feeding the boy begging from the hospital campus and taking shelter under the roof of hospital reception. However, on Thursday somebody kidnapped the boy while she had been away for collecting food for the kid. She lodged a complaint with police after she found the boy nowhere despite a frantic search. Police has registered the complaint and initiated an investigation into it. CCTV footage is being examined. Effort is on to rescue the boy soon, said police.
