Puri, May 21: Media is not allowed to the Puri Ratha Rathakhala. No media personnel can enter here for sourcing news on the construction of Rathas. Puri District Administration and Sri Jagannath Temple Administration have issued advisory in this connection on Thursday. According to it, news related to Rathakhala, Ratha Yatra and Sri Jagannath Temple will be provided through press release. Thus, there is no need to visit the Rathakhala physically for any information and happening. As per the minutes of the review meeting on Rath Construction convened on Tuesday, utmost care is being taken to contain corona in the Rathakhala. All 88 servitors engaged in construction of Raths are under medical surveillance so that they can be kept away from Corona infection. Similarly, the eight Covid-19 positive servitors are under special care so that they will have quick recovery. At the same time, others are in isolation homes of the temple in order to keep them away from community infection till construction of Raths end duly, said the Chief Administrator of the temple Dr Krishan Kumar.
