MCL grants 9.32 cr for Talcher Hingula Temple

Bhubaneswar, April 25: The Mohanadi Coalfields Ltd. (MCL) has sanctioned Rs 9.32 crore for Talcher Hingula shrine in Angul district. The company has sanctioned it from its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund after the nod of the Union Minister for Coal & Mines Pralhad Joshi on Friday. The assistance will be utilised for building the frontal structure (Mukhasala) and altar for Jajna (Jagnya Mandap) of the temple. Notable, Maa Hingula Temple Trust had sought the assistance of the Union Minister for Petroleum Dharmendra Pradhan, in this connection. Dharmendra had wrote to Joshi  on January 13  to sanction fund for the incomplete temple. Acting on it, Joshi recommended the allocation from CSR fund of MCL.
