Massive fire breaks out in garment shop in Keonjhar

Patna, July 10: Valuables worth lakhs of rupees were gutted as a major fire erupted in a garment shop located o NH-49 near Turumunga-Jharbeda chowk in Keonjhar district late on Friday night. The fire engulfed the entire shop in no time and destroyed clothes, saris, furniture, and several other valuables. Soon after being informed, the fire tender rushed to the spot and doused the flames. Though the exact cause is yet to be determined, an electrical short circuit in the establishment is suspected to have triggered the fire that caused loss of several lakhs of rupees. .
