Muniguda, Feb 20: At least seven Maoist posters were found put up at different places in Dimiriguda village under Ambadola police limits in Rayagada district on Saturday morning.
The posters were released in the name of Ghumussar divisional committee of the outlawed outfit.
Through the poster, the Red rebels said that Shankar Patra and Hemanta Patra from Kandhamal’s Belghar were killed for informing the police about their movements.
The outlawed extremist group also held Odisha police DGP Abhay and police intelligence chief RK Sharma responsible for the deaths of the duo.
On being informed, the police reached the spot, tore off all the posters and started an investigation into the matter.
The recovery of Maoist posters has sparked off tension among the villagers.
